We work across the outdoor industry, prioritizing contracts with outdoor professionals who influence how participants are welcomed into and experience the outdoors, such as schools, outdoor leadership programs, wilderness medicine, wilderness therapy, guiding outfits, and summer camps. Within an organization, we train to build antiracist culture through knowledge, skills, and shared language across every level of contributor–from the Board to the warehouse.

Planned and hosted gatherings for outdoor educators to foster antiracist culture, practice tangible skills, and support individual growth.
Designed and delivered continuing education for Wilderness First Aid and Responder instructors on how to teach inclusive emergency medical practices, as well as the legacy of racism in medicine, land access, and education.
Designed and facilitated several short racial justice trainings for recreation staff. Prepared a “binder” of antiracism resources and tools for current rec leaders and career staff to implement in their day-to-day work planning and leading outdoor adventures.
Designed curriculum, organized, and facilitated year-long racial justice affinity space for group of white women in tech.
Provided services for multiple organizations such as: reviewing website copy, creating and delivering antiracism training curriculum, mediating accountability for racial harm, and coaching leadership.
Supporting individual requests for learning and growth relating to: racial harm in their workplace, understanding the history and intersection of racism in various professional fields, and personal racial identity development.
Steph and Ella are fantastic facilitators. They built an environment where I was very comfortable being uncomfortable. They developed a learning community of outdoor educators with various levels of experience and roles from seasonal field staff all the way up to executive leadership. I learned a lot about racial justice. I also picked up some communication tools that I use with my leadership team on a regular basis.
